Mac vs PC Limitations ?

Im running MAC AU version of this, but its setting box is totally different to what appears in the PDF manual.
i have no way of accessing MIDI learn on the AU plugin, nor will it accept the MIDI CC control messages from a controller with the specified MIDI list as in the manual.

Im running 1.8 in mac. Using the 32 LIVES wrapper.
Most other things work, but it looks to all intents and purposes that this isnt possible on the mac ?

Can you confirm if this is correct or not ?
